How should frozen egg noodles be prepared?

Bring the water, which may or may not be salted, to a boil. Put frozen noodles in liquid that is already boiling, mix them to separate them, and then return the pot to the stove. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, for three to five minutes, or until the softness is reached that you like, stirring periodically. Drain and thoroughly rinse.
